Who we are
Millions of us are connected to immigration. Husbands and wives, moms and dads, sons and daughters. The teacher who knows every kid by name, the faith leader who knows every family in the congregation, the coworker, the neighbor who’s traded house keys with the family next door for twenty years.
Right now, the people we love are being taken. We’re U.S. citizens, and it’s happening at our own doors, in our classrooms, and where we worship. A husband held hundreds of miles from home. A kid who stops coming to school. A coworker who doesn’t show up Monday.
We’re coming together to keep our families and communities whole. If immigration is part of your life through someone you love or live beside, you’re a Connected American.
A note from our co-founder
We built Connected Americans because families kept telling us the same thing: they felt alone in something that touched everyone around them. Every story on this site is someone who decided to show up anyway.
